Changed vacation plans for a summer of revival

When Marcus and Joni Lamb joined Pastors Steve and Kathy Gray to kick off a summer of revival at World Revival Church, the Daystar Television Network president encouraged everyone to make or change their vacation plans and come to Kansas City.

“Your church needs this revival,” Lamb said during the live broadcast of Friday’s service. “Your family needs this revival, your city needs this revival, your nation needs this revival!”

Many are following Lamb’s advice, changing their schedules and vacations to get to World Revival Church for a touch from God.

Ben and Cynthia Davidson, of Australia, came to be changed. Unable to shake off an anger problem, Ben knew he needed to get to Kansas City. After receiving prayer, he said, “The power of God hit me so hard. I’ve never felt anything like that.” Ben said the anger problem was pulled from him “and then I was filled. I’ve never felt such peace.”

Jeremy and Brooke Howard, of Oklahoma, arrived desperate for a work of God in their children and family. “This is our 11th hour,” Brooke said. Their 13-year-old daughter was powerfully impacted by God’s presence throughout the weekend.

Freida Wilson, who came from Texas, got her anniversary wish: a visit to World Revival Church. “When my husband asked what I wanted for our wedding anniversary, I told him ‘I want to go to Kansas City.’” While here, Freida’s back was healed and she was able to sleep with no pain for the first time in months.

What do you need in your life, family or ministry? Include a trip to Kansas City in your vacation plans and you could be the next testimony of healing, hope and renewed vision.

“Make the effort and see what God will do,” Lamb said.
